About Modern Light Company
Decorative lighting for the whole house, from pendants and chandeliers to solar garden lights, delivered across Ireland.
What we do
We sell documented chandeliers, wall lights, bathroom vanity lights and solar outdoor lighting across Ireland. Eight mains-powered source listings remain visible but unavailable while Ireland-compatible voltage or plug documentation is outstanding. Everything is bought online and shipped to you; there is no showroom.
Good lighting is not something you can see, it is something you feel. That is the reason this shop exists, and it is why every page here tells you the size, the bulb base and the colour temperature rather than adjectives about ambience.
How we work
Orders are picked and packed within 24 to 48 hours and the published standard delivery estimate is 5 to 7 days across Ireland. Standard delivery is free from €100 and €30 below it; Express Delivery is a €30 paid upgrade. You get a receipt when you pay and a tracking number when it ships.
Chandeliers and most wall and vanity lights connect to your home's electrical supply and require a Registered Electrical Contractor. The solar lights need no wiring. Every available product page says which type it is.
What we will not tell you
We do not claim a safety approval we cannot show you. We do not publish a star rating we cannot stand behind. If a page here quotes a measurement or an output figure, it is the figure the manufacturer publishes, not one we worked out.
