This Privacy Policy explains how Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, trading as Modern Light Company ("we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit modernlight.irish or buy from us.

We handle personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and applicable Irish ePrivacy rules.

We only collect the information we need to run our store and look after you. This may include:

• Order information: what you ordered, when, and what you paid.
• Payment information: handled by our payment providers, Stripe and PayPal, on their own systems. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Information collected automatically: such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the site that referred you. Analytics information is only collected if you accept analytics cookies.

Our lawful bases

We process order and delivery information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you. We process records where needed to meet legal obligations, and use proportionate security and service-improvement data where we have a legitimate interest that does not override your rights. Analytics and marketing are based on consent where consent is required.

You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
